The second piece for Star Army [link] There was a little frustration with this piece in that a couple of communication lines got crossed. But hey, shit happens when you work.

All in all, I enjoyed making this one. Though I can now see a lot of the mistakes I made, I'm still pretty happy with the result. Balancing the relative transparencies of color and texture layers can be challenging, but I begin to see how much depth can be brought to a digital drawing through this technique.
